Something that gets on my nerves slightly…
Hey tumblr people.
Uhm…kay…so…just so you know…GIF (graphic interchange format) is what you call an image, picture or photograph that ends in .gif. The ones that are animated are called ANIMATED GIFs (a series of gifs in sequence, creating the appearance of movement). I keep seeing people referring to animated gifs as just gifs and expecting people to differentiate that from an image, when in fact the image is also a gif. Anyways, just thought I’d clear that up.
