So I made the difficult decision to add some coworkers to facebook.
It’s weird ‘cause most everybody (with a few exceptions) knew I was into girls at my old retail location (I got transferred to the same store in a different city for when I moved) and everybody was fine with it. It’s hard for me because I’m not super open about it just to be on the safe side. I like to be able to maintain a good, professional working relationship with my coworkers. It’s something that, unfortunately, is hard to do because not everybody is open about the idea of a same sex couple. I’d rather just keep things easy and not have everybody know. That being said, I also want to be able to make some friends in this new city and work is the perfect place to do that. Although I’m fine with people at work not knowing, if I want to make friends, I want them to know who I really am. I feel I can trust these two people I’ve added even though I haven’t known them for a super long time. I hope that this is the case.
