Hehe. It’s funny that you ask. The first time we met I brought a friend to be on the safe side, and also break the tension between us, Cher didn’t. I was nervous as heck. We met in Toronto for Toronto pride so at least there was a lot to do, a lot to talk about, and a lot of people around. The moment I saw her for the first time at the train station, I dropped my bag and hugged her. I was automatically as comfortable as I knew I’d be (although still a little awkward…I’m always awkward though). I also talk a lot when I’m nervous so that works to my advantage, lol. Cher took a little more time to warm up. She was fairly quiet, but that’s just the type of person she is. It takes her a while to feel comfortable around new people. It wasn’t nearly as awkward as we thought it would be though. It was a great day and it didn’t take us long after that to get more and more comfortable. I fall more and more in love with her every time I’m with her and I speak to her via text/skype/online every single day. Thanks for your question anon :).
